Learn the secret to quickly knowing which side of your car has the gas fill up

Are you still looking in the side view mirrors to figure out which side of the car has the gas tank? Many, but unfortunately not all, cars actually tell you which side to put near the gas pump with a little arrow right on the gas gauge.

The 1996 Ford Bronco was pretty clear. The arrow tells you the fuel door is on the left

The 1997 Chrysler LHS gas gauge is subtle. But the little triangle next to the gas pump icon is pointing to the right. The tank is on the right.

Once you see the arrow, you wonder how you ever missed it.
